Established in 1984 Bellbrook Chocolate Shoppe continues to be committed to our simple original goal: to offer our customers the best handmade chocolates and cookies.
Founded with that commitment by Betty Blose in 1984, Bellbrook Chocolate Shoppe has maintained its reputation for its delicious signature blend of milk and dark chocolate combined with our handmade creams, nuts and other fillings. Because we guarantee the quality of our product, a gift of Bellbrook chocolates continues to be the perfect one for any occasion.
In 2000 Betty's son Marshall, his wife Laura, and daughter Emily joined the business. Laura created her shortbread cookies, which soon became quite popular. Today "Aunt Laura's Shortbread Cookies" have become another tasty part of our business.
As a locally owned family business we continue to grow through the delicious products we offer at our Cross Pointe Shoppe, the 2nd Street Market, and our online store. We always give the same personal attention to each piece we make and each gift we create for you.

Betty Blose
Her love of chocolate and dedication to quality began when she opened Bellbrook Chocolate Shoppe in 1984. She had a simple goal: create the best handmade chocolate around. Betty built the foundation that made Bellbrook Chocolate what it is today. Her cheerful personality and warm smile are still what customers mention when they come in and say, “Tell Betty I say hi.” She filled the shop with happy memories and touched many lives with the sweetness that became her legacy when she passed the dream to her son Marshall and daughter-in-law Laura. Betty still pops in every now and then to make sure everything is running smoothly — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
